Earleen Uhl Joins Board of Directors

Earleen Uhl is Elected to United Bank of Iowa Board of Directors


 

Owen C. Bolte, Chairman of the Board of United Bank of Iowa and Ida Grove Bancshares, Inc., is pleased to announce the addition of Earleen Uhl to the Board of Directors of United Bank of Iowa and Ida Grove Bancshares, Inc. effective April 19, 2024.

Uhl joined United Bank of Iowa in September 2010, as a Bookkeeper and has served in various roles over the past 13 years.  In 2012, she accepted the position of Ag Loan Secretary and was promoted to Assistant Vice President Bookkeeping in 2013 and Vice President Bookkeeping in 2015. Uhl was promoted to Senior Vice President Operations in October 2018, and to Executive Vice President Operations & Control/Cashier in June 2022. She will continue to serve in this role supervising the Data Processing, Bookkeeping, Trust, Accounting and Auditing departments as well as operations of the bank.

Uhl, a native o Charter Oak, Iowa, graduated from Charter Oak-Ute High School and furthered her education at the University of Northern Iowa earning a BA degree in Management. In 2019, she completed the Iowa School of Banking. 

Bolte commented, “We are excited to have someone with Earleen’s knowledge and operations experience join our board. Earleen manages the bank’s financial position and oversees the daily operations of the bank so she brings valuable insight and expertise to the board.”

Earleen and her husband, Rob, live near Battle Creek where Rob manages a crop and livestock farm operation. They have three children who attend OABCIG schools. Bradyn, age 18, is a senior, Bailey, age 14, is in 8th grade, and Cole, age 9, is in 3rd grade.
